ALN Magazine Archives

  JALN
The Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks describes original work in asynchronous learning networks, including experimental results. All articles from the JALN are available online as both web pages and as free downloads in PDF format.

The ALN Magazine was devoted to topics in Asynchronous Learning Networks that did not fall in the traditional journal format. These topics included reports of uses of technology, experiences with online courses, reports of activities on various campuses or in industry and summaries of online activities (e.g., the reports from ALNTalk). The aim was to make the ALN Magazine a more news and method-oriented publication rather than a formal journal. The ALN Magazine is no longer published, but the archives continue to be available.

Current news and information is now reported in Sloan-C's newest publication, The Sloan-C View. The formal journal format continues to be available in the Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks (JALN).
